David asked the first question in Oral Answers to Questions on Berkeley Hospital ‘What progress has been made on the provision of services at Berkeley hospital.’

No doubt today you will all have heard on the news about MPs receiving letters requesting the repayment of expenses.

I am very pleased to here that on the 21st July the Government made a positive statement on the issue of Vulture Funds. You may remember my article regarding Vulture Funds posted on the website on the 6th May when I demanded an end to 'Debt Vultures'.

David asked a Written Parliamentary Question regarding the Gurkha Pension Scheme ‘To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the average pension payment to a member of the (a) Gurkha Pension Scheme and (b) Armed Forces Pension Scheme was in the latest period for which figures are available; and if he will make a statement.’

The Gurkha plight still continues; with many retired soldiers still fighting for the right to receive equal pensions from the UK government. In particular, there are Gurkhas who served before 1997 and only receive a pension between 1/6 and 1/8 of the amount which a UK solider with the same service receives.
