Stroud Specials Weekend

On Saturday 6^th February David took part in the annual ‘Specials Weekend organised by Inspector Steve Lindsay.  This was an excellent opportunity for many of the Stroud Special Constables to get involved in a full scale operation. 

The priority this year was stopping motorists who were speeding, using a hand-held mobile phone or not wearing a seat belt.  Also taking part in the weekend event were the County Council's Road Safety Unit and Stroud District Council's Neighbourhood Wardens.  David said ‘These are all a great group of people who help to make our communities the fine places that they now are.’
