I opened the new show room for Elite Energy Efficiency at Daniel s Estate Bath Rd Stroud.

I attended the 2gether Trust Roadshow at the Subscription Rooms to draw attention to the continuing stigma associated with mental health.

On Sunday 23rd August I was special guest and gave the certificates out at The Energy Neighbourhood Awards held at Randwick Village Hall.

David has added his weight to a campaign run by a coalition of twenty organisations representing people with long-term conditions to scrap prescription charges for all people with long-term conditions without delay.

I made another visit to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge recently. There I met with Martin Spray, Chief Executive of the Trust and other members of the team to discuss developments on the Severn Barrage.

David recently met with Mike Hillard of Tranquility House in Bownham Park. Mike’s Tranquility House is the most energy efficient house in the country.

David showed his support to the workers from the Vesta plant on the Isle of White recently in a march outside the Subscriptions Rooms in Stroud.

Many of you will have read before about the knitting projects that we are co-ordinating at the Constituency Office.

On the 6th August David attended a meeting about the Standish site. The group is now calling itself the ‘New Standish Group’
