David is backing a National Autistic Society (NAS) campaign to stop adults with autism being written-off by the employment and benefits system. A new report by the NAS reveals a third of people with the condition currently live without a job and without benefits; many are forced to rely on family and friends for help.

David joined Which? this week at the House of Commons in the fight to make healthy eating easier. Which? has launched Fat Snacks, a fictional product, to highlight the range of eye-catching tactics used to promote unhealthy food to children.

The number of illnesses and fatalities per year due to food poisoning in the UK continues to be significant.

David underwent a fracture risk assessment in Parliament this week to raise awareness amongst constituents of bone fractures and osteoporosis. These conditions are a major health concern in Stroud, as estimates show that between 1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men will suffer a fracture after the age of 50[i].
